{"id":13526,"date":"2026-02-21T11:08:16","date_gmt":"2026-02-21T07:08:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/medscriptum.org\/?p=13526"},"modified":"2026-02-21T11:08:19","modified_gmt":"2026-02-21T07:08:19","slug":"victoria-shonia-a-young-pathologist-is-the-winner-of-the-vincent-academy-of-pathology-international-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/medscriptum.org\/en\/victoria-shonia-a-young-pathologist-is-the-winner-of-the-vincent-academy-of-pathology-international-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Victoria Shonia, a young pathologist, is the winner of the Vincent Academy of Pathology international competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-path-to-node=\"2\"><b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Victoria Shonia<\/b>, a visiting lecturer at the Department of Pathological Anatomy of Tbilisi State Medical University and a young pathologist at the Teaching, Scientific, and Diagnostic Laboratory of Pathology, is the winner of an international competition organized by the <b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"271\">Vincent Academy of Pathology<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">As part of the project, which is supported by the host institution&#8217;s funding, Victoria Shonia will undergo a three-month internship in Austria starting March 1, 2026, at the <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"174\">Institute of Clinical and Molecular Pathology (Ordensklinikum Linz\u2013Elisabethinen Hospital)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">This internship will provide her with the opportunity to:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"5\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,0,0\">Deepen her expertise in the subspecialties of <b data-path-to-node=\"5,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"46\">breast and gynecological pathology<\/b>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,1,0\">Enhance her diagnostic capabilities and participate in <b data-path-to-node=\"5,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"55\">international research projects<\/b>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,2,0\">Master complex <b data-path-to-node=\"5,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"15\">differential diagnostics<\/b> and the interpretation of <b data-path-to-node=\"5,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"66\">biomarkers<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">The Institute is one of Central Europe\u2019s highly specialized, oncology-oriented pathology centers.
