According to the millionaire, his stomach is “eating itself.”

Johnson, who made a name for himself by going as far as infusing his own son’s blood to rejuvenate his body, blames the disease on an unhealthy lifestyle, stress, and depression from his childhood. He claims his body began destroying the stomach lining years ago, but the symptoms remained hidden. However, a biopsy and tests conducted at age 48 revealed that his antibody levels exceeded the norm fivefold.

Independent medical experts, however, view this version skeptically. Rupert Leong, a gastroenterologist and professor of medicine at the University of Sydney, believes the disease may actually be the result of Johnson’s extreme and quasi-scientific medical experiments. According to him, the millionaire is attempting to shift the blame to his childhood to protect his “brand.” In reality, the situation is severe—autoimmune gastritis is incurable and drastically increases the risk of developing stomach cancer.

Despite the diagnosis, the biohacker has no intention of giving up. He stated that modern medicine is accustomed only to managing chronic diseases rather than curing them. To solve the problem, Johnson plans to test specific AI-designed antibodies and synthetic proteins to destroy the “rebel” immune cells attacking his stomach.

AFR

Bryan Johnson, the world’s most famous biohacker who spends millions of dollars a year to maintain his youth, posted on social media that he has developed a rare autoimmune disease—chronic autoimmune gastritis.
