the system was practically paralysed.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"5,6\"> It was during those difficult times that I opened a small pharmacy in my husband&#8217;s village.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"5,8\"> I sourced the medicines for sale from Aversi, and that was my first direct contact with the company.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"p-rc_0cf698c91a56345a-175\" data-path-to-node=\"6\"><span data-path-to-node=\"6,0\">Later, in 2001, I learned that Aversi was assembling a new team of medical representatives.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"6,2\"> I applied, was selected, and became the Georgian representative for a well-known company, Byk Gulden.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"6,4\"> Here, I must single out my colleague Marekhi Barjadze.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"6,6\"> It was she who, at the time, showed me that Aversi was an organisation of enormous potential, still growing, and that its founder, Paata Kurtanidze, had a clear and ambitious vision.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"6,8\"> I trusted her professional instincts, and for the past quarter of a century, I have been part of this great family.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"p-rc_0cf698c91a56345a-176\" data-path-to-node=\"7\"><span data-path-to-node=\"7,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Aversi has been operating for more than thirty years.<\/b><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"7,2\"> <b data-path-to-node=\"7,2\" data-index-in-node=\"1\">How has your role evolved over those years alongside the company&#8217;s growth, and how did you find your way to managing the brand&#8217;s communications?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"p-rc_0cf698c91a56345a-177\" data-path-to-node=\"8\"><span data-path-to-node=\"8,0\">After the Japanese company&#8217;s representation ceased operations in the post-Soviet space, Paata Kurtanidze created Georgia&#8217;s first 12-person medical marketing team, of which I was a founding member.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"8,2\"> It was a very dynamic process: we would go directly to physicians and bring them the latest information about medications.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"8,4\"> I remember that period with particular warmth and fondness to this day.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"8,6\"> After five years in that area, the company opened a vacancy for a brand manager position.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"8,8\"> Having passed the relevant examinations, I moved to that role, and later, again through an internal competition and examination process, I took up the position of Head of Public Relations, which I have led since 2008.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"p-rc_0cf698c91a56345a-178\" data-path-to-node=\"9\"><span data-path-to-node=\"9,0\">Some people are puzzled by the need for such a rigorous internal examination system for promotion.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"9,2\"> But I fully embrace this approach.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"9,4\"> In our work, constantly refreshing the mind, maintaining professional sharpness and staying energised are absolutely vital.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"9,6\"> My role became a logical, step-by-step reflection of the company&#8217;s own development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Crisis Management and the Ecosystem of Empathy<\/b><\/p>\n<p id=\"p-rc_0cf698c91a56345a-180\" data-path-to-node=\"12\"><span data-path-to-node=\"12,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"12,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The position you hold is often perceived from the outside as a state of permanent crisis management and high stress.<\/b><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"12,2\"> <b data-path-to-node=\"12,2\" data-index-in-node=\"1\">What is your main personal challenge in this work, and where do you find your motivation?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"p-rc_0cf698c91a56345a-181\" data-path-to-node=\"13\"><span data-path-to-node=\"13,0\">Honestly, I would not call this work stressful at all.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"13,2\"> Recently, on International Children&#8217;s Day, we held four large-scale events in a row.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"13,4\"> I came home at eleven at night, physically and emotionally completely drained but extraordinarily happy.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"13,6\"> For me, this level of energy and pace is not stress; it is the greatest pleasure.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"13,8\"> Quite the opposite, I struggle to adapt to overly quiet, &lt;&gt; periods.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"13,10\"> I need constant movement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"p-rc_0cf698c91a56345a-182\" data-path-to-node=\"14\"><span data-path-to-node=\"14,0\">As for the challenge, it is a continuous process of proving yourself.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"14,2\"> You have to justify the validity of your decisions to both customers and your internal team.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"14,4\"> The pharmaceutical industry is an extremely sensitive field.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"14,6\"> Beyond that, the public relations department is the one that spends the corporate budget rather than generating it, which means you are constantly having to persuade leadership that this expenditure builds reputational capital that returns to the brand in the long run in the form of trust.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"p-rc_0cf698c91a56345a-183\" data-path-to-node=\"15\"><span data-path-to-node=\"15,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"15,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The Aversi Holding employs more than 12,000 people.<\/b><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"15,2\"> <b data-path-to-node=\"15,2\" data-index-in-node=\"1\">How do you manage internal corporate communication in a way that ensures the company&#8217;s core values and messages reach every link in the chain unchanged?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"p-rc_0cf698c91a56345a-184\" data-path-to-node=\"16\"><span data-path-to-node=\"16,0\">Our holding truly comprises enormous organisations: the Aversi clinic network, Aversi-Ratsionali with its state-of-the-art manufacturing standards, the insurance company Alpha, and the pharmacy network itself.<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"16,2\"> Each division has its own public relations team, but Aversi-Pharma remains for me the &lt;&gt;
