Today, when the United States is considered the world&#8217;s unchallenged leader in medical research and development and sets the global medical agenda, it is vitally important to remain as close and as synchronized as possible so that physicians can deepen their expertise, and patients can receive the highest standard of care<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"3,4\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\"><span data-path-to-node=\"4,0\">It is precisely this role as a bridge to American medicine and a vehicle for sharing experience that MedVeritas Global has taken on<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"4,2\">. Specializing in Implementation Science, she ensures the platform bridges the gap between the world&#8217;s most advanced medical breakthroughs and individual care<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"8,6\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\"><span data-path-to-node=\"9,0\">\u00abCreating the platform was a very natural decision, when you consider that over 26 years of practice in the United States, my colleagues and I were frequently contacted by Georgian patients or their family members who wanted to hear a second professional opinion or to verify a complex diagnosis<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"9,2\">. It was precisely the recognition that many of my fellow citizens navigating difficult medical situations and confronting serious diagnoses needed greater clarity and confidence that made it clear to me that there was a need for a safe, better-organized, high-quality platform<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"9,4\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10\"><span data-path-to-node=\"10,0\">I believe the platform serves two primary functions<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"10,2\">. First and foremost, patient care: through telemedicine, we offer access to second opinions from America&#8217;s leading specialists without patients needing to leave their homes<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"10,4\">. The second function, I believe, will be of particular interest to Georgian physicians themselves: an initiative to be announced this June<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"10,6\">. It envisions collaboration between American and Georgian physicians and aims to deepen relations between the two countries<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"10,8\">. It is a fully free educational initiative that will initially encompass four components<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"10,10\">. The first session is already planned for 20 June in endocrinology, and the second for 27 June in rheumatology<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"10,12\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11\"><span data-path-to-node=\"11,0\">All of this is aimed at ensuring the formulation of an optimal treatment plan in complex medical situations<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"11,2\">. The initiative does not replace the role of local physicians; quite the opposite: it supports the development of the best treatment approach for the patient through joint consultations and collaboration<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"11,4\">. He subsequently pursued advanced subspecialty fellowship training in hand, upper extremity, and microsurgery at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center and Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"43,8\">. His fellowship training focused on the treatment of complex fractures, amputations, peripheral nerve injuries, compressive neuropathies, ligament and tendon injuries, tendinitis, and degenerative joint disease of the upper extremity<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"43,10\">.
