The high-tech method was utilized at the <b>Brodno Hospital in Mazovia, Warsaw<\/b>. This is the latest technology that was previously used in only two other European countries.<\/p>\n<p>During a robotic endoprosthesis surgery, the surgeon attaches a special device to the robotic arm. Aided by <b>Artificial Intelligence (AI)<\/b>, the system calculates the optimal positioning for the hip implant and performs diagnostic measurements in <b>real-time<\/b>. The robotic arm assists the surgeon with precise positioning during implant placement.<\/p>\n<p>This innovative technology <b>eliminates the need for separate MRI or CT scans<\/b>, <b>reduces the risk of complications<\/b>, and <b>improves joint mobility<\/b>, allowing patients to return to sports and other physical activities in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Skowronek, who participated in this significant medical achievement, states that robotic technologies previously used only for knee surgeries are now also being utilized in hip joint operations, marking a <b>new stage in the development of orthopedics<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Hip endoprosthetics is one of the most frequently performed surgeries. Using the robotic arm allows for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Precise implant placement.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Minimizing leg length discrepancy.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Achieving maximum range of motion.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Reducing the risk of dislocation.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>According to Professor Skowronek, this surgery is being performed on younger patients more and more often.
