A brand-new, Japanese-standard automated service system has been introduced in a pharmacy located within the Tashkent City Mall. Thanks to this innovation, the traditional method of searching for medications on shelves has been replaced by a specialized robot that locates the required drugs and prepares orders in just a few seconds.

This technology significantly reduces customer queues, accelerates the service process, and minimizes the risk of human error in medication selection. Despite this high level of automation, pharmacists retain their positions, though their roles are shifting. They will now focus their full attention on patient consultation, while the robot handles routine and technical tasks.

It is noteworthy that such systems are globally recognized as robotic pharmacy warehouses. They increase storage density and allow for more economical use of floor space. The system operates on a specialized algorithm that strictly monitors expiration dates, prioritizing the dispensing of medications that are closest to their expiry.

These technologies, which were previously available primarily in Japan and developed European countries, are now actively taking root in Central Asia. This marks a completely new stage in the development of digital pharmacy in the region. This process is not merely a technical upgrade but part of a global modernization of the healthcare sector, where robotic systems guarantee high-quality service and safety.

The implementation of such innovations in the region promotes transparency and efficiency in the pharmaceutical market. Since automated warehouses are integrated with digital databases, they allow for real-time inventory control and management.
