Georgia’s creative industry has achieved a historic milestone on the global stage. At The One Show, one of the most prestigious festivals held in New York, Ano Gogichadze, Marketing Director of PSP, was named Creative Marketer of the Year.
This special award is presented to professionals for their courageous use of creativity in business and their exceptional cultural impact.
Ano Gogichadze was honored with this top accolade for the Independence Day campaign ‘Birds Never Forget to Fly,’ created for PSP by the agency Playmakers. The campaign, which tells a story of freedom and resilience, was developed in collaboration with imprisoned director Giorgi Okmelashvili and actor Andro Chichinadze.
At The One Show festival, which has been organized by The One Club for Creativity for over 50 years, the campaign earned recognition in six additional categories alongside the special prize—the brand was awarded 2 Bronze Pencils and 4 Merit Awards.
‘Birds Never Forget to Fly’ has become one of the most decorated advertising works in Georgia’s history. It has already won awards at influential festivals such as ADCE, Clio Awards, Ad Black Sea, and EPICA. As a result of this success, Playmakers ranked second in Europe in the international creative rankings, while PSP outperformed giants like McDonald’s and Heineken, securing the 18th position in the global brand rankings.
