The study presented at the congress comprised a cohort of 864 Georgian patients. For the first time in Georgia, the results of expanded carrier screening and the unique genetic characteristics of the Georgian population were comprehensively evaluated.
Preliminary findings revealed significant genetic insights specific to the Georgian population, further underscoring the vital role of expanded genetic carrier screening in reproductive medicine.
