On October 9, 2025, Tbilisi will host the Tbilisi International Heart Failure Forum 2025. The event will summarize five years of regional and international cooperation.
The conference will cover modern methods of heart failure management, as well as innovative treatments and diagnostics. This year, the forum will place special emphasis on strengthening cooperation between regions in the field of cardiovascular medicine.
The forum will be led by three distinguished scientists:
- Professor Mandeep Mehra – William Harvey Distinguished Chair in Advanced Cardiovascular Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, USA.
- Professor Hadi Skouri – Director of Heart Failure and Cardio-Oncology at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
- Zviad Kipiani – Head of the Cardiovascular Department at Jerarsi Clinic and President of the Georgian Heart Failure Association.
The three-day event, which will conclude on October 11, serves as a platform for professional education of the highest standards. The forum is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), and participants will be awarded 17.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). This provides a significant opportunity for doctors to enhance their professional qualifications and gain international recognition.
The conference will once again highlight Tbilisi’s growing importance as a regional medical hub.
