On November 22, 2025, the Sheraton Grand Metechi Palace will host the conference “Neuroimpulse – From the Past to the Future.” This scientific event is held in honor of the late Professor Avtandil Latchkepiani, who played a decisive role in the development of neurology in the region.
The event will bring together leading Georgian neurologists and distinguished graduates of Professor Latchkepiani’s School of Neurology. The scientific program will cover a broad spectrum of neurological diseases, maintaining a balance between clinical expertise and the latest neuroscientific research. Special emphasis will be placed on how recent achievements are being integrated into clinical practice, which clearly illustrates the constantly changing field of neurology.
One of the main elements of the conference is a poster session designed for residents and young neurologists under 35. This initiative aims to support the future generation, allowing them to present original research projects and clinical innovations. Authors of outstanding works will be awarded the Prof. Latchkepiani Prize. (The deadline for submitting work is November 15).
